![]() ![]() Perhaps I should have also mentioned above that I'm using El Capitan v 10.11. Update: I've tried selecting the Rode Podcaster as the Playback Engine (via Setup) but when I do this I am no longer able to open my project (it gets stuck on Getting Project Information), and infact I don't appear to be able to create a new project either. Would be massively grateful for your help. I'm using version 2018.7.0 on a Macbook Air 13 inch early 2014. but that's not happening for me, and I'm only seeing Built in Microphone 1 and Built in Microphone 2. ![]() My understanding that having done this the Podcaster should now appear in the interface list in Audio Input Path selector in the track. Nb the format is set to 44100.0 Hz which I've not changed. Head to System Preferences > Sound, and then click the Input tab. I have clicked on it and selected "use this device for sound input". A common cause of microphone problems is a misconfigured sound input. ![]() Nb at this point I'm thrown from PT to Audio MIDI Set Up, where I get a Audio Devices window. I've selected it through: Setup > Hardware My external mic (a Rode Podcaster) is not appearing in my Audio Input Path Selector. ![]()
